These two ads for Pretz, a Japanese pretzel company, are pretty bizarre. They don’t make me particularly hungry, but then again neither do most snack food ads, except maybe the ones for delicious frozen pizza. Mmm, frozen pizza.

And, just for kicks, here’s one more Japanese spot. This one is for LA Pizza (or Pizza LA, as their shirts say). Pretty damn awesome.

This is a very Wes Anderson-ish Wes Anderson commercial for a Japanese cell phone company. Brad Pitt appears as some guy who looks fly in a safari outfit and gets into adventures.

I don’t know if Bod is a real male grooming product line or not, but their commercial sure is hilarious.

This campaign ad for Melinda Katz, who’s running for Comptroller in New York (I think), has been airing a lot on TV. And even though campaign ads are boring, this one is a little better than the rest, if only because Ms. Katz isn’t afraid to use the phrase “stick it.”
