Worst Ad of the Year Nominee #4: Feed the Pig
I’m not sure exactly when these Feed the Pig ads started, but I’m fairly sure it was this year. Either way, they’re stupid. I think they’re supposed to be public service announcements encouraging people to save money, but the only thing they’re successful at is giving me nightmares. That freaky pig needs to go away.
The Pig psa is actually a commericial. It suggests we stop consuming (which is helping to kill our economy) and instead, give all our money to the GREEDY “banksters” who pay virtually nothing in interest for that “priveledge” and use the funds to finance off-shore companies where all our jobs are going. It’s like Suzie Ormann saying “NO” to everything (and like WHAT kind of expert is she?)
When “The Pig” starts paying you and me the 5 per cent or higher tax-free interest we deserve for allowing them to use our cash once again, then Okay, we can start feeding The Pig again.
The Pig is the most infuriating fraud of a PSA on tv today…
