Ad of the Week: Tingotang
I spotted the ridiculous product called Tingotang on TV’s Dragons’ Den, on which the company tried and failed to obtain funding for their misguided efforts. Basically, it’s jewelry you’re supposed to wear to signal that you’re single when at a bar or such. The product was dumb and nobody would ever buy it, but their ad is even worse.
I don’t know, I’m American, and I’m looking for it on Ebay. I must have a Tingotang. I think it is hilarious. I want one because it’s something ridiculous and British.
I can not imagine anyone in the UK wearing such a stupid symbol…. Never seen it here so far, can’t imagine I ever will.
I agree, I think it did just as badly as the Dragons predicted. What a terrible idea!
